Mediaset: Milan need to conclude Hauge transfer before making move for Ilicic

Jens Petter Hauge is destined to leave Milan this summer and after missing out on yesterday’s friendly, a move seems close. This will allow the Rossoneri to make one move on the incoming front.

According to SportMediaset, as cited by MilanNews, once Hauge’s transfer has been concluded, then Milan will be able to make a move for Josip Ilicic. The latter wants to leave Atalanta and he would be useful for the Rossoneri this upcoming season.

Hauge has an offer from Eintracht Frankfurt but the agreement between the clubs is missing. The feeling is, however, that they will be able to reach an understanding. The rumoured demand of Milan is €12-13m.

Ilicic would be a low-cost operation for the Rossoneri, given his age (33), but he’s a very experienced player in Serie A. By the looks of it, he would mainly be an option for the right-wing and not the playmaker role.
