Mediaset: Milan open talks over Real Madrid trequartista and close on deal for Spurs defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in negotiations with both Real Madrid and Spurs over the signing of an attacking midfielder and a right-back, a report claims.

According to reports from SportMediaset on Friday (via MilanNews), Paolo Maldini is in talks with Real Madrid over playmaker Oscar Rodriguez.

The 22-year-old is owned by Real Madrid but spent last season out on loan at Leganes, where he netted nine times in 30 LaLiga appearances.

The price of his transfer is €20million, but Los Blancos would like to include a buy-back clause. The Spaniard is seen as the ideal profile to become the new back-up to Calhanoglu.

Meanwhile, the same outlet are reporting that Milan are in the final stages of talks with Tottenham over a deal for Serge Aurier.

The Rossoneri are understood to be in the market for a new right-back given Andrea Conti’s inconsistency and the desire to sell Davide Calabria, and it looks like the Ivorian is the man chosen.

  1. If Levy isn’t careful we’ll get lumbered with Aurier for another season. Levy always holding us back. Get on with things and make the upgrades we need not bench players, first eleven players.
