Mediaset: Milan want four-time Champions League winner for the attack – talks ongoing

AC Milan have two main targets for the roll of attacking midfielder, a report claims, with a primary option and a back-up plan.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan want a Champions League level player to take the place of the departed Hakan Calhanoglu and that is why they have targeted Isco. Contacts with Real Madrid are ongoing, while Carlo Ancelotti has already told the player not to be part of his project.

The Rossoneri are working on it, and the cost of the transfer should be around €20m. The player, however, would have to cut his salary since at the moment he earns €8m net per season, but he would bring experience and a CV with four Champions League titles on it.

If Milan are priced out of a deal for the 29-year-old then the alternative is RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer, who is described as another concrete track.
