Mediaset: Milan want four-time Champions League winner for the attack – talks ongoing

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have two main targets for the roll of attacking midfielder, a report claims, with a primary option and a back-up plan.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan want a Champions League level player to take the place of the departed Hakan Calhanoglu and that is why they have targeted Isco. Contacts with Real Madrid are ongoing, while Carlo Ancelotti has already told the player not to be part of his project.

The Rossoneri are working on it, and the cost of the transfer should be around €20m. The player, however, would have to cut his salary since at the moment he earns €8m net per season, but he would bring experience and a CV with four Champions League titles on it.

If Milan are priced out of a deal for the 29-year-old then the alternative is RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer, who is described as another concrete track.

  1. Isco would not be better than Sabitzer but anyway …
Let’s get a player who has already achieved of what there is to and hasn’t really played a full match for 2 seasons now is often injured and won’t track back defensively rather than a young CAM potentially cheaper, can track back and has been quite good and will be entering his prime now.

    Excellent Mercato 👏🏻

  2. It is again a lie and that job is impossible as with Rodriguez because the player is asking for 8 million salary and Milan will not pay that because he did not want to pay 6 million for Rodriguez, so Kesie is on the way out asking for 5 million and Milan is offering 3.5 million

    1. Shevchenko will always be one of the best Milanista and welcomed in any form at ACM

Sabitzer is real deal sign him
