Mediaset: PSG turn back to Renato Sanches after Thuram disappointment

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face an uphill pursuit of Renato Sanches and they are also battling competition to sign Japhet Tanganga, a report claims.

Claudio Raimondi of SportMediaset (via MilanNews) describes Milan’s attempts to sign Sanches as being ‘complicated’ because PSG have not been able to sign their main midfield target Khephren Thuram from OGC Nice.

That means that the Portuguese international is once again very much on PSG’s radar and they could soon launch an official bid. Given the fact Christophe Galtier is their new head coach and Luis Campos is the director – both formerly of Lille – they seem to be in pole.

Milan are still on the hunt for a new centre-back too and the hottest name remains Tanganga of Spurs. Milan will battle to sign the 23-year-old Englishman with Everton, who have asked Tottenham to have him on loan. It would be a loan with option to buy, like the Fikayo Tomori operation.
