AC Milan winger Junior Messias has insisted that the team’s preparation for the match against Salernitana was right, but the execution wasn’t there.

“In my opinion the approach to the match was right, otherwise we wouldn’t have scored so soon but we had to close it. We looked for the goal in the end but we didn’t succeed,” he said.
“Now we have to play every game as if it were the last, as if it were a final. It’s always nice to have the fans around, it’s always a positive feeling.”
