Tuttosport: Future of Messias in the balance as Milan shop for specific type of winger

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not yet fully convinced by Junior Messias and that is why they are looking at alternative potential targets, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the future of Messias remains in the balance because the Brazilian – who arrived from Crotone on a loan with option to buy set at €5.4m during the summer – has still not managed to dissolve the doubts about his ability.

Milan will only make a decision on whether or not to buy him permanently at the end of the season so the 30-year-old will be given more time to prove his value by building on the five goals he has scored in the current campaign.

If he does not convince and therefore the club decide not to sign him outright, the Rossoneri would then go looking for a new left-footed winger who can play on the right and cut in, a bit like Domenico Berardi.
