Junior Messias gave AC Milan a crucial lead in the first half against Monza on Saturday night with a shot from the edge of the box.
The Brazilian turned and hit the bouncing ball on the swivel on the half hour mark after the Rossoneri had created a couple of very good opportunities for Rafael Leao and Fikayo Tomori.
The goal was coming on the balance of play and it was a vindication of Stefano Pioli’s decision to start Messias.

Some people will be salty after they mocked Messias and now the player scored a goal.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I respect it was a nice goal but don’t come here acting as if messias has been anything special
You’re delusional as fvck if you think it needs to be a special player to scored a goal and bring three points for the team.
Stop playing video games kiddo.
Why don’t you learn how to speak decent English and then start writing, twat
As usual, the nazi grammar are moving goal post when they don’t have anything to argue. Fvck off moron.
Cry more someone seems to be now butthurt and his only defense is saying fvck, what a great keyboard warrior you are
Play Aster! We need to integrate our young players – because that is all we have. Adli as well. If we cannot play them against teams like Monza, they will never see the pitch.
Please stop with playing this and that player.
And Monza played really solid. They not lost a single match this year until Milan beat them.
