Today’s edition of Milano Finanza reports that a new consortium has emerged, interested in buying AC Milan should the company end up in the hands of Elliott.

The Rossoneri’s current owner, Yonghong Li, needs to repay the loan to Elliott by October, or else the company will be in the hands of the American hedge fund.

In that case, a consortium composed of the bank Goldman Sachs and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross ($7.6 billion net worth) would be interested in buying the club. Elliott would request around €400-500m.
