GdS: Milan aim to save €15m in wages with eight player’s departures – the details

AC Milan have developed a big plan to save around €15 million in wages by offloading as many as eight players in the summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club are looking at seriously trimming the squad to ensure that financial sustainability continues.

One player that is certainly going to be removed from the wage bill at the end of the season is Tiemoue Bakayoko. Along with him, Sergino Dest is not expected to be kept on and will return to Barcelona.

The same could happen to Aster Vranckx who does not currently look set to be signed on a permanent deal by Milan.

Ante Rebic and Fode Ballo-Toure are also serious candidates to be sold in the summer, along with Yacine Adli. The biggest name that could be offloaded is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, along with Ciprian Tatarusanu and Antonio Mirante.

If all of these players were to leave, Milan would free up around €15 million in their wage bill.
