AC Milan’s 2022-23 home shirt will be ‘similar to the 2000-01 home kit’ according to the reliable journalist Antonio Vitiello.
Speaking on his podcast, Vitiello of MilanNews (via FootyHeadlines) stated that he has seen the new shirt and that it is similar to the one worn to bring in the new millennium, in that the area around the shoulders is almost entirely black. The stripes are also ‘slightly wider’, he revealed.
Vitiello also added that the away and third kits would be white and green respectively as primary colours, which matches the information that was revealed back in January.
The 2022-23 home shirt will combine two shades known as Puma Black and Tango Red which means it has the same colours as the current season, but now the black is the main colours and the red secondary.
Of course, fans have reacted to the news by trying to create a concept based on the information, as seen below.
