In recent years, many have been frustrated by AC Milan prioritising sustainability over success, now, it has bitten them back.
This season has been woeful. On the pitch, players have often been disappointing. However, things go beyond those on the pitch. There, until now, has been no structure for the future, and the managerial picture has seemed like a conveyor belt, rather than a project.

As a result of the failings – which the management have begun to admit to – change will happen, and the model may be restructured.
Frustrations have only grown with Milan prioritising the numbers in the accounts, rather than those on the Serie A table, due to the implementation of price-capped spending. However, this seems to have caught up with the club.
As Calcio e Finanza write, the accounts are in the red for this season, for the first time in two years, and the expectation is that the losses will stand at around €25 million. The reasoning for which has not been fully revealed, however, it seems to be due to ‘increasing costs and declining revenues’.
Things could change with the season ‘ending’ on June 30, so the mercato will have an effect, probably. However, it is definitely not a good sign if the books are balanced by sacrifices.

Cardinale laughed at inter….
Look at him now.
Criminale !
Carnivale
Great job rat Furlani. Glad to see your keeping your job getting more power
Should have used a less vomit inducing image.
How ironic
Sälj klubben Parasiter
You get what you pay for🍿
Moneyball talent pooling – fool
Only 4th serie A table target – they don’t even want to win a thropies
Only hope to suck money from champions leauge
Look at now 8/9th in a league.
Leave now cardinale
The cretins who complained about the owners being cheap shouldn’t be posting in this thread. Some of us warned that spending so much wasn’t sustainable. Poor management, even worse fans.
You early know nothing about investing. If they went after quality players, for example, like a Buongiorno instead of paying 18 for Pavlovic, they would have a better team and go further in all competitions thus leading to more revenue. The revenue they receive from WINNING would offset the expenses i.e Inter. Also, they sold a ton of old players (assets) to acquire their new players. Also, you need a competent management but that’s another story.
Declining revenues when the sporting side fails? Seriously?! Mind blown!
Great business man…first he fired a successful manager like Maldini, after that he put in charge two clowns like Furlani and Ibra. And now he must sell some assets to keep business in some shape…👍👍👍😆😆😆
“Winning is boring”…
Winning is surely too boring..
That’s why Cardinale said they rather win in accounts when giving a lesson to Inter.
Now.. Look at these, the accounts are the opposite ha
😆 yes, he would only win on accounts to save his own arse.
No need to panic or sell. We can post losses up to 60 million euros, plus ten more, 70 total, over three seasons if we are in good financial health. That being said 25 in the red can be easily recouped with sales in the next 2 years.
Tammy Abraham +
Alexis Saelemaekers, Pobega, Adli, Okafor, Chukweze, RLC, Emerson, can all earn a transfer fee of 5 to 7 million on average, so 35 to 49 Million there. While saving on wages average 3 mill each x 8 for 34. That is between 59 to 73 million euros.
Youssouf Fofana, Ismaël Bennacer, Tijjani Reijnders, Warren Bondo and Kevin Zeroli is fine for Serie A and Coppa only.
Yunus Musah can play as a RB or in midfield against lesser teams.
CB: Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw, Strahinja Pavlović,
Matteo Gabbia, Marco Pellegrino.
Rb: Álex Jiménez , Filippo Terracciano should be okay
LB. Theo Hernández will be better with less games and rest this summer.
We were in the BLACK (profitable) last few years and we didn’t spend big $$ – so now that we are in the RED and will lose 25M – does anyone think cheap a$$ Gerry is going to spend $$ on players??? Hahahahahaha! Keep dreaming.
Player sales here we come! Rafa, Theo Mike Thiaw, Tomori Tiji – all on the table. No big deal just our entire core of players lol. Ya I’m sure this will end very well with replacement players from the Turkish and Belgian leagues and pocketing the rest of the cash to cover the losses.
12th place here we come!!!
Gerry “Charlatan” Cardinale.
Books in the red….. So is Mr Cardinales prestige.
