AC Milan are big admirers of Monza star Carlos Augusto but they face competition to sign him from rivals and a job to convince him, a report claims.
As Calciomercato.com report, Carlos Augusto got his fifth goal of the season in the last round of action against Cremonese to which four assists must be added, earning comparisons with Theo Hernandez for his attacking threat and his ability to play both left-back and wing-back.
The 24-year-old is expected to change agent in the coming weeks and then he will have to study what he wants to do in the summer window, while Adriano Galliani is pressing for the Brazilian to renew his contract expiring in 2024.
Inter and Juve have been watching Augusto for some time, while Milan also like him as well, but it feels as though he aspires to a leading role and not to be simply an alternative to Theo Hernandez.
