MN: Milan have concrete interest in €40m-rated Sociedad star – top four finish key

By Oliver Fisher -

Another report has emerged claiming that AC Milan consider striker Alexander Isak as a target for the summer transfer window.

According to MilanNews, Isak is a player that the management are keen on as they look to plan the future of the attacking department, especially with regards to potential successors to Zlatan Ibrahimovic given that he is 40 years of age and his deal expires in June.

The Real Sociedad forward may be the ideal profile because he is young (22) and can therefore grow, plus he is a team-mate of Ibrahimovic in the Swedish national team. The Rossoneri are seriously interested in the former Dortmund man, whose valuation is €40m at the moment.

Of course this is a significant figure, but qualification for the Champions League would guarantee Milan a higher budget to invest in the summer market. Isak scored 17 league goals last season and has 8 in 25 games across all competitions so far this campaign.

  1. First of all — Real Sociedad had 70 million bid from Arsenal recently rejected.

Second of all — Overrated & overpriced; he is not worth of such investment.
