AC Milan are in talks over the potential last-minute signing of two Tottenham players on the penultimate day of the window, a report claims.
The Rossoneri have had a quiet January transfer window so far having only signed Marko Lazetic, an 18-year-old striker who arrived from Red Star. However, there could yet be some interesting late activity as talks have apparently been opened with Spurs over two players that are not in their plans.
As reported by Carlo Laudisa for La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have initiated contacts with the London club over the signing of Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele.
Given the time and budgetary restraints, the formula on which Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking to close the deals is a loan operation, but it could be a situation worth following. Alli has one goal in ten league games for Spurs, while Ndombele has one goal in nine.
Laudisa has now published an update on Twitter essentially ruling out the potential for Alli to arrive, because the signing of Lazetic means that Milan have used all their non-EU slots for the season.

Dele would be great!
Dele is a non-EU citizen, we filled the last spot for those when we signed Lazetic.
Stories, same scenerio played out last time, don’t get excited at all
This article is hilarious. What a joke lol. No no -EU spots left and we have zero $$$$$
Please not Dele Freakin Alli.
