GdS: Milan identify alternative target amid doubts over Chelsea winger’s salary

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have targeted Fenerbahce wide man Ferdi Kadioglu as a potential alternative to Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) confirm that Milan have an interest in Kadioglu but he would be an alternative to Ziyech who has been in the Milan orbit for some time now as a target to boost the quality of the right wing.

The Moroccan would like to leave Chelsea to find a starting position at another club that the Rossoneri would certainly give him, but the question of salary remains as Ziyech earns €6m net per season.

He would have to cut part of his salary to join the Rossoneri and the paper states that there is no indication yet regarding whether he would be willing to do so, which is why the 23-year-old Kadioglu – who is predominantly a full-back but can also play as a winger – is being monitored.

  1. FFS, if we’re going to buy another FB and convert him to a winger why not just let Dest play as RW? He’s clearly much better attacking than defending and we’re getting Calabria back soon.

  2. Was there ever any doubt that Milan wasn’t going to get him. They always pretend like they are going to go after top players ( Ziyech, botman, sanchez), then they go sign some cheap 20 year old who may or may not be good in a couple years.
