CM: Milan interested in OGC Nice star with 10 league goals this season

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are always on the lookout for young talents to bolster the core of the team and they are targeting OGC Nice star Amine Gouiri, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan are among the clubs that are monitoring the progress of Gouiri as he continues to have another impressive campaign in Ligue 1. The 22-year-old striker has amassed 10 goals in 24 league games so far, which has helped drag them third in the standings.

The Olympique Lyon youth academy product was sold Côte d’Azur club for €7m in the summer of 2020 (via PianetaMilan) and is now forging a role as a centre-forward but can also play wide left or in behind if needed.

According to Transfermarkt he already has a market value of around €45m, but if Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara deem it necessary to bolster the attack with a statement signing then we know from recent history that the French market is one they are likely to target.

  1. Gouiri and David from Lille would be perfect for Milan, very young and extremely talented but I’m afraid Elliot’s Milan will never buy a player with such high price tags
