The official announcement that Ismael Bennacer has signed a new contract with AC Milan is expected to be made in the next couple of days, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), all the details of the deal have now been agreed upon and it is just a matter of time until fans get the news they have been waiting for.
It is reported that the official announcement could be made in the next few hours on Monday, although a Tuesday announcement is seen as more likely at this stage.
The new agreement will keep the Algerian at the club until 2027 and he will now earn €4 million per season. There is also going to be a release clause of €50 million.
That clause will only become active in the summer of 2024 and it will only be valid for clubs outside of Italy, meaning the likes of Juventus cannot sign him for that fee.
Based on yesterday I’d say he’s worth more than anyone else on the team ATM so that 4M€ is a steal.
