AC Milan, Arsenal and Liverpool are among the European sides who are keen on Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson, a report claims.
According to TEAMtalk in England, Larsson’s performances for the Bundesliga side are attracting keen eyes from around the continent. The 20-year-old is considered a top midfield talent, who can play either in a deeper-lying role or as a box-to-box player.
Liverpool and Arsenal both want to bolster their depth in midfield but the report states that Milan are interested and ‘will be a major player to watch’ in the January transfer window too. Transfermarkt have Larsson’s value at €28m.
Having signed from Malmo in his home country, he has five goals and three assists in 54 games for Eintracht, establishing himself as a starter. He has also made eight appearances for the Swedish national team.
His ‘technical ability as well as his defensive strengths’ are very attractive to the clubs mentioned, especially the Rossoneri who are looking for a player who can help give Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders some rest.
Frankfurt are ‘expecting offers’ once the window reopens but a winter move might not occur because of a thigh problem which has kept him out recently, with no return date confirmed at the moment.
He is a quality young player.
