A report has claimed that AC Milan are one of the clubs keen on exploring a deal for Victor Osimhen, but a move to England appears more likely at the moment.

According to what is being reported by Fotospor, Napoli offered Osimhen to Newcastle United during the January transfer window because they were ‘determined’ to cash in on him despite the fact he is on loan at Galatasaray.

Newcastle made attempts to sign Osimhen in the summer of 2024, but gave up on the transfer due to Napoli’s demand for a transfer fee of £113m, which is around €135m. However, they did not manage to bring him in during the winter.

The Magpies are not the only club keeping a close eye on Osimhen’s situation as per the source. Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus, Milan, Newcastle United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool are also interested in the Nigerian, who has rejected offers from Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Galatasaray want to try all the means necessary to see if they can satisfy Napoli’s demands and make the loan a permanent deal, as unlikely as it might be given the expected costs involved.

Osimhen has played 21 matches for Galatasaray this season, scoring 17 goals and adding five assists. Milan did try to get him in the summer but given they have just invested €35m for Santiago Gimenez, it feels like they almost certainly won’t be in the running come June.

  1. Was hubris before we signed Gimenez, now it’s clearly nonsense. No.9 (well he wears no.7 😆) is fixed at least for the immediate future, Santi is who we’ll rely on.

  2. LOLOLOLO

Ya sure. We haven’t even signed Felix permanently yet and we are somehow going to spend 75-90M for Oshimen??? Hahahahahahahahaha

We are owned by Redbird not rich Arabs. We are Lucky if Gerry makes his interest payments in the vendors loan

    Get real

    1. You see kids like this makes me just annoyed:

This ain’t FIFA l: we have don’t tremendously last transfer window. Understand the economics here. It’s not about Arabs, Chinese or whatever we need to invest in a sustainable way:

      Educate yourself

  3. All going according to the plan regarding Santi Gimenez, we won’t even need him. And if J. Felix turns to be a good deal too, then we should try to bring him on permanently. That said, with Abraham as cover and Camarda for the future, Leão and Pulisic as well, we’re set in terms of the attacking dept.

    1. Agree – not sure how reliable Abraham is tho… If he does go back to Roma there are cheaper alternatives out there than Osimhen and less anxiety inducing too without dealing with that goofball ADL..

  4. I have a feeling – its my hope too – that the next transfer window will be mainly dedicated to reinforce our midfield options.

  5. Osi scorers goals but he’s also a liability. He destabilizes locker rooms. And he’s a loose cannon on social media. Milan don’t need the kind of circus he comes with …

We do need a reliable alternative to Santi, but Osi is not it. Lucca would be a good shout …

        1. You both are so cute as a redbird couple @dejan10 and @ACM1899.
“Outside of this mercato have you understood anything our management had done? Par for the course.” —well I saw all your posts defending your management from the very beginning. Your perspective changed?
