AC Milan are one of the teams who have scouted Racing Club forward Carlos Alcaraz in recent weeks, according to a report.
According to Marca, Racing are ‘rubbing their hands’ knowing that they have another gem in Alcaraz, having sold Lautaro Martínez to Inter previously. Several top European clubs have asked for information about the 19-year-old midfielder, who has 5 goals this season.
Milan are listed among the admirers in the article as are Atlético Madrid, Sevilla, Juventus, Arsenal, Tottenham and Inter, while Wolves and PSV are also understood to be keen but to a lesser extent.
The teenager has a contract until 2026 and Racing will not give much of a discount on the €25m release clause that Alcaraz has in his contract, as they want around €20m to sell the player. It is a figure similar to the Lautaro Martínez deal as he went for €27m plus a percentage on future resale.
