Another source have now reported that AC Milan are interested in signing Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma, joining a growing list of clubs.
Milan have been linked with a move for Zaniolo in previous windows while the forward is yet to sign an extension of his current deal which is expiring in June 2024, meaning that he is reaching a crossroads regarding his future.
According to reports from SportMediaset on Italia Uno (via MilanNews), everything is at a standstill over the renewal of Zaniolo with Roma and the more time passes, the more the price drops and the possibility of him leaving increases.
In addition to Juventus and Tottenham who maintain a long-standing interest, the list of teams keen on the Italy international has grown to include Arsenal and above all Milan, whose interest in Zaniolo was also confirmed by the checks made by SportMediaset editorial staff after an earlier report today.
If we have to sell Leao and can get around 100m, we could do an offensive overhaul and also sell Rebic and maybe another player and get enough money with those transfers plus our CL budget to go after Mudryk, Zaniolo, and a player like Doku. We’d still need a striker but that’s big upgrades in 3 positions along our attack (besides Leao for Mudryk, that could be a downgrade but I think Mudryk will actually be a similar talent level, maybe even with a higher ceiling).
Sorry guys but much as i like Milan, Zaniolo is not the one for me and would much rather stay very far away from him …..
I totally agree with Davide… I don’t think Zaniolo fits Milan, I think he is overrated… I’d prefer Berardi anyday!

Zaniolo is one player who would be an instant upgrade on our team. Milan needs a left-footed right winger and Zanilo is among the very few quality players in that position, which Milan actually has a realistic chance of signing. He is not the most ideal but he is much, much better than any other RW that Maldini has tried to sign the past 2-3 years. And people need to stop talking baout f*cking Berardi now. If anybody is overrated, it’s that guy. he is at an age where he will only get worse from now on, while Zaniolo still has room for growth. This is a much better suit for a club like Milan
