AC Milan could soon have another preseason game on their schedule as they may face Barcelona at the Camp Nou, a report claims.

Sport writes that Roma have unilaterally terminated the contract to be Barça’s opponent at for the Joan Gamper trophy, so the Blaugrana are now working intensely on the mission of finding a new opponent that will feature the men’s and women’s first teams.

Milan have a good chance of being the team that visits the Camp Nou on August 6 for the game as per the report, with the Rossoneri seen as a demanding test for Xavi Hernández’s side before the start of the 2022-23 season.

The women’s match would also have an interesting sub plot given that Laia Codina played last year on loan at Milan from Barcelona, and has just returned to Catalonia.

Barca’s legal department continues to study the appropriate actions to claim damaged from Roma regarding the ‘unexpected and unjustified decision’ to pull out of the game.

  1. Barcelona is ridiculous. They will ask for money because they don’t have any. Not a single other club would investigate how to get damages repaid when there are almost none probably, other club will play. What a joke of a club that has become.
