Disappointment is high around Milan following crucially dropped points against Bologna, with the 0-0 draw being put into worrying context by one outlet.

The last good game offensively Milan played was the Copa win vs Lazio since then its been hard for them to score. This is mostly in my opinion because of the selfishness of the players especially Leao. The praise he was getting couple months ago (because he has scored only 2 more goals this year compared to last 2 seasons) went to his head. He constantly tries to go on his own relying on his speed and strength neglecting his teammates. Defenders have figured him out , his runs 99.9% of the time end up with him losing the ball or making the wrong decision. Some would use the excuse that he has been double and triple teamed, which is true, which also means that because of that 1 or 2 of his teammates are unmarked. If he moves the ball in those occasions instead of playing hero ball Milan will have better chance to score.
I don’t even wanna talk about the player on the other wing. Messias has no business wearing Milan jersey let alone being a starter. The next time you see him pass the ball will be his first. Give me saelemakers or Castillejo, send messias back to Crotone in serie c
great analysis, I think Pioli has recognized this by encouraging Theo to push up the center of the pitch as Deschamps has dome with him at the French Nat’l team. And Leao when he does lose ball mopes around for 5-10 seconds when he should be pissed off and try to win it back, instead throws up his hands at ref.
