Sports Digitale: Milan boosted in pursuit as Güler’s father does not want huge commission

By Oliver Fisher -

The rumours that Arda Güler’s father and agent is requesting a huge amount in commissions for his son’s transfer have been denied.

There has been talk that Güler’s father – who is also his representative and will lead negotiations this summer – has been asking for anywhere from €10m to €15m in commissions from clubs that have reached out to him.

As reported by Sports Digitale (via SempreMilan.it) however, the news of a substantial signing bonus demanded by the player’s entourage have been denied, thus boosting Milan’s chances of being able to try to close the operation.

Güler is linked to Fenerbahce with a contract that has a €17m release clause, a figure that Moncada would be happy to spend to grab one of the most interesting talents in Europe.

However, there is no shortage of competition because Barcelona and Real Madrid are also in the running to land the Turkish talent.

  1. From now on I’m here just to read what Boulden will comment. Maybe the bad Inter fans in disguise gave the fake information in the newspapers so they lie about the fee? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    1. Boulder is the new Poli bro. Ever since we lost NDka and Thuram for free to Inter his stellar directors haven’t been so stellar after all

  2. Unless the Kamada deal falls through, the only way to do this would be to let him stay in Turkey on loan for a year anyway, so I don’t see it happening

        1. That only apply if the number of non-EU in the squad is 2 or less.

As we have more than 2, we need to sell 2 abroad if we want to sign 2 from abroad.

  3. AC Milan have sealed the agreement to sign Luka Romero on free transfer from Lazio. Here we go 🔴⚫️✅ #ACMilan

Deal in place until June 2027, Romero has accepted and documents are being prepared.

    Anyone seen him play?

    1. He looks promising. Maybe if Pioli can use him like Ten Hag used Garnacho or Pep uses Rico Lewis then maybe he can develop into a world class player.

    2. Moncada has scouted/ seen him play along with Pioli who has made sure that this was the player he wants and is in full agreement with Moncada and Furlani unlike in the past when he wasn’t consulted 😁

      1. Pioli is nodding his head to keep the job. It’s not like he has many choices to choose from. Moncada probably gave him options to choose from and he chooses the best out of bad.

    1. Why? No matter what happen, non-EU signing from abroad is capped at 2 per season at most. Even if you sell all the non-EU in the club, you can’t sign more.

  4. Barcelona and Real Madrid don’t want him, stop making things up. Even a club like Brentford could sign him, and they’re not interested either!
