CM: Milan have total agreement over new signing – Investcorp takeover changes nothing

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still expected to tie up a deal for Lille defender Sven Botman despite the probable change in ownership, according to a report.

There has been a lot of speculation in the media that the sale of the club to Investcorp by Elliott Management could have an impact on the operations that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are currently trying to complete.

However, Calciomercato.com write that Investcorp being the new owner of Milan will not have an effect on the deals that the directors are already working on, with one of them being the negotiations over Botman.

There is a total agreement over the Dutch centre-back as per the report and soon there will be the definitive go-ahead to get the documents signed. He will arrive to replace Alessio Romagnoli who now seems destined to depart after seven years at the club in the direction of Lazio.
