There is one issue holding up the possibility of AC Milan signing Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea and it must be resolved, according to a report.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) confirms that Ziyech is one of the players that the Milan management like to reinforce the attack given that he is in his prime at 29, he has Champions League experience and he can play either on the right wing or as a playmaker.
There is an important starting point for this negotiation, which is that fact that the Blues want to sell the Morocco international who has not found his best form under Thomas Tuchel, and therefore this is certainly an advantage.
However, a meeting point will have to be found on Ziyech’s salary which at the moment seems too high for Milan to consider paying. If an agreement on this is found, Milan could pay a loan fee to secure him for next season, perhaps with an option for it to become permanent.
So that ‘one’ issue is his salary demands and Milan and Chelsea wanting completely different deals.
But apart from that, it’s all done, right?
I don’t think Milan will mind having an option to buy included just in case he has a stellar season
Just like the Botman transfer, right? All done. 🙂
Prove that the media clowns know nothing.
