AC Milan have a number of targets in mind ahead of the January transfer window to cover Simon Kjaer’s absence but a lot depends on the Liverpool game, a report claims.
Milan’s worst fears were confirmed on Friday as Simon Kjaer’s season is over due to a knee ligament injury that needed operation, so the search has begun for cover with a number of targets having already been linked in the media from options abroad to those domestically.

According to what is being reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan are evaluating three profiles above all and one of them is 24-year-old Brazilian centre-back Bremer from Torino, a name that has been circulating.
Another player that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara like is 21-year-old Sven Botman from Ligue 1 champions Lille, while a new name has also emerged in Andreas Christensen from Chelsea (25) who is yet to sign a new deal and is a compatriot of Kjaer.
Longo adds that much will depend on tonight’s match against Liverpool and the potential of pocketing extra revenue from making the last 16 of the Champions League.
