AC Milan have been widely tipped to sign a major reinforcement for the attack this summer and Christopher Nkunku of RB Leipzig is reportedly on their radar.
L’Equipe (via MilanNews) talk about how Nkunku’s great season is not going under the radar given that he has 34 goals and 19 assists in 49 games for Leipzig across all competitions so far this season, helping them to a Europa League semi-final.
Several of Europe’s elite clubs are attentive to his situation and the chance to sign one of the brightest prospects in European football right now, such as Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United plus LaLiga giants Barcelona.
In addition to these teams, Milan are also following the situation but Leipzig are under no pressure to sell the former PSG forward and that is why they are likely to command a very high asking price once the summer transfer window opens.
He is really fantastic; but my guess is that the asking price by Leipzig will end up being way too much.
