Le10Sport: Milan and Chelsea battling to sign Saint-Etienne teenager on free transfer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are planning moves not only to help the club in the present but also bolster the squad with talent for the future, and a goalkeeper has entered their sights.

According to what is being reported by the French newspaper Le10Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Milan are interested in signing Noah Raveyre from Saint-Etienne, who has a contract with the Ligue 2 club that expires at the end of the season.

Given the lack of an agreement over a renewal, Milan have every intention of trying to sign him on a free transfer but they will have to overcome the competition of Chelsea, who have already moved to secure the 17-year-old.

Raveyre has made his senior debut for Saint-Etienne and is on the radar of the French national team set-up too as he was selected by his country for the 2022 U17 European Championships in April 2022. He only played the last group game, but France won the tournament by beating the likes of Germany, Portugal and Netherlands along the way.
