GdS: Milan keeping an eye on three opportunities for the attack aside from CDK

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are putting a lot of faith into getting the Charles De Ketelaere operation over the line, but they are lining up other opportunities just in case.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) the Rossoneri management are looking around to seize any opportunities that may arise to strengthen the attack through cost advantageous deals.

One name on the list is Hakim Ziyech who is currently on stand-by while Milan try to complete the signing of De Ketelaere. The Rossoneri are waiting to find an agreement on the formula of a potential deal with Chelsea and also on the Moroccan’s high salary.

Marco Asensio could also be an opportunity given his deal expires in 2023 and Real Madrid will not offer him a renewal meaning he could leave for a cut-price fee as the window drags on.

Finally, Paulo Dybala is a player who is obviously of interest given his quality, league experience and the fact he would arrive on a free. However, if he does not lower his requests it will be difficult to see him in concrete talks with the Rossoneri.

  1. Great news…the same i’ve been reading for the past 3 months lol. Talk about when a journalist has nothing to talk about but must upload some content. Not your fault though, it’s Milan’s market session’s fault.

  2. Ya ya….old news. Arsenic and Ziyech make too much $$ FOR US apparently- so unless their clubs pay half their salaries this will not happen. Same w Dybala unless he has no offers by end of summer and willing to take our low-ball offer he will sign elsewhere. As for CDK – I hope, but doubt we pony up the cash to buy him, we will miss out on him like so many other targets we deemed as “ideal” for a few extra million $$
