Ruhr Nachrichten: Milan circling as Dortmund midfielder’s exit is confirmed

Another source in Germany have claimed that AC Milan are interesting in signing Mahmoud Dahoud on a free transfer given he is leaving Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl announced on Monday to Bild that Dahoud’s spell with the club – lasting for over half a decade – would be coming to an end once the season is done. Not long after, Sport1 mentioned Milan as having an interest.

Now, Ruhr Nachrichten have confirmed that Dahoud will leave on a free transfer and offered some background too. BVB were not willing to promise him a long-term extension while extending the deal by another year did not seem sensible to either side.

There have always been enquiries regarding the former Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder, while the source adds that Milan, Napoli and Leicester City are currently keen on the 27-year-old and knowing that he is available on a free, the number of interested clubs could go up again.

  1. Managers trying to pawn off their garbage by pulling “stories” and “rumors” out of their posteriors.

I he was worth anything, Dortmund would be trying to renew him, but they aren’t even trying. That is indicator enough of the quality of the player.

    1. I actually have, I watched A LOT of Dortmund games because of Haaland. Guy is a 3rd substitute on a good day. He is so bad his dream is to reach the level of garbage.
