AC Milan are very close to finalising a deal for another striker, after having got the one for Niclas Füllkrug over the line.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport report, in addition to bringing Füllkrug to Italy in a loan with option to buy deal, Milan have ‘essentially finalised’ the signing of centre-forward Andrej Kostic from Partizan Belgrade in Serbia.

Kostic has already scored eight goals in the Serbian league at the age of just 18, and he is referred to by some as the ‘next Vlahovic’. The deal isn’t 100% complete, but it’s nearing completion.
Another deal close
The idea is to bring Kostic in as quickly as possible, to familiarise him with the Milan environment. It’s a January deal and not one for June, while the permanent purchase is expected to be worth around €5m.
Kostic can play as a striker or as a second striker. He’s physically imposing, standing at 188cm tall, and is growing rapidly. This summer, he moved from Buducnost to Partizan and that’s when the Vlahovic comparisons started, with whom he shares an agent.
This season, despite playing limited minutes, he’s the team’s second-highest scorer. On September 5th, he scored in the Italy-Montenegro U21 match played in La Spezia.
Milan are signing Kostic with the idea of giving him plenty of minutes with Milan Futuro, the second team competing in Serie D. Naturally, it will be up to him to prove himself on a daily basis in order to earn some playing time with the first team, either this season or next.

I mean, what’s the purpose ? Best case scenario, we sign him, groom him a bit and sell for a profit. Worse case, he’s the next lazetic.

He has a goal ratio pr 88 minute scoring 9 goals over 27 adult matches in various competions over 791 minutes. Hardly a bad idea to take a chance at 5 mil. I would personally let him finish the season there though if Partizan plans to keep playing him. Then next year loan him to another mid to bottom Serie A or top Serie B team that should help him plenty for the next step in his career.

It is a very impressive goal pr. minute ratio for any attacker and even for well established players as it means he scores 1 goal in less than pr. full match played. Obviously the Serbian league isn’t as strong as Serie A but a goal ratio like that will get players noticed. 5 mil would be a steal from the looks of it and he has already played in CL qualifiers and has 2 international game for Montenegro.
Tried to reply earlier but it didnt get posted, yes its a great ratio for any attacker young or experienced even if the Serb League isn’t on the same level as Serie A its still a chance worth taking on a kid scoring a goal in less a match.
He has a better ratio than NKUNKU and gimenez

Why not just call Camarda back from loan at this point? Would rather have him on our bench than Lecce’s. Also, what’s this gonna be like next season? Isn’t this kid only gonna stand in the way or Camarda’s development?
