Despite today being the decisive day in the Scudetto race it seems that the mercato talk never stops, and there is an update on Renato Sanches.
The Portuguese midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Milan for months now as several reliable sources claimed that a late January bid was accepted by Lille before the player decided to stay put until the end of the season.
However, TMW are reporting that Renato Sanches is getting closer to joining Milan ahead of the 2022-23 season. The deal to bring the Lille midfielder to the Rossoneri is in fact close to being sealed and the parties are working on the details.
It is an operation worth a total fee of €30m which is a figure more than most other sources have reported, while in the coming days there will be new meetings to try and tie up all the loose ends with Milan eager to sign the man they see as Franck Kessie’s replacement.
How can you pay 30 millions for one player that has one year left of contract but dont want to spend like 60-70 millions on Nunez!
30 M to 70M, are you kidding me?
Why dont pay kessie wages 7 million and release clause on 50 million .
Are you for real? Kessie’s matter is already closed.

30million for a year contract left?? That’s abnormal! Unbelievable!
Most likely it means 3,5 m x 4 years (14 m + 7 millions on taxes), plus 9 millions to Lille, thus bringing the total sum to 30 millions.
It doesn’t make sense in any other way…
Even for 30m he will be a bargain, but I know it’s gonna be less than that amount.
