AC Milan have enquired about Antonio Conte as well as Massimiliano Allegri as they look for a coach to build their new project around.

Igli Tare is getting his feet under the desk at Casa Milan, and his first interview with Milan TV aired on Wednesday. He spoke about supporting the club as a child and vision to get Milan back to the top, for which a top coach is needed.

Milan are trying to hop on the managerial merry-go-round at the right moment, with several major sources claiming that Vincenzo Italiano will renew with Bologna causing them to turn to Massimiliano Allegri.

Matteo Moretto’s latest update

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the well-known journalist Matteo Moretto gave an update on Milan’s pursuit of a coach and he threw Antonio Conte’s name into the mix.

“The situation is not yet clear. But I’ll try to give you some information, even though it is an absolutely evolving story. Tare is working to close everything within 7-8 days,” he said (via MilanNews).

“The profile that is most liked is that of Massimiliano Allegri: they are looking for a centraliser, capable of managing certain players well even on a human level, an Italian coach who knows what it means to win. Allegri is first on the list.

“But Milan moved late anyway, or later than the competitors, because Napoli already has a verbal agreement with Allegri in the event that Conte were to leave Napoli. But on this last point there are no certainties.

“After Allegri, there are other plans for Milan. Vincenzo Italiano, who will remain at Bologna, is not on this list. Milan, in addition to having called Allegri, also called Antonio Conte. Very very difficult path. But Milan is looking for a centraliser and one who knows what it means to win.”

    1. The ‘management’ and everybody should chill with this talk about Allegri or some other coach coming.
In my opinion, only Conte is worthy. If not Conte, let Conceicao continue.
I remember the conceicao’s Porto against milan Liverpool and atleti in UCL group stage where milan finished last. That team was really disciplined and compact, hence my stance (Conte or Conceicao) besides Pioli also had a shaky start

  1. Ngidanile njengomlandeli we ac milan kuthiwa ngithi esphethe i schema esi best ku serie A kodwana singaphandle kwe champions league Silsbee ne coppa italia with so called best serie squad of milan kuphathisa inhloni ngemphumela ye season

    1. 100% But this management is allergic to winning choices.

One competition, Second Star, 4th club to make history with – screams Conte.

      1. Allegri:
        6 scudetti,
        5 Copa Italia,
        3 Supercopa Italiana.

        Conte:
        5 scudetti,
        2 Supercopa Italiana.

        Who is the winning choice?

Conte has never won more than 1 competition where he had to coach multiple competitions simultaneously. The 2 Supercopa that he won the games were played before the season started.
Allegri coached teams that won the scudetto, won Copa Italia, and led his team to the UCL final, twice.

“One competition, Second Star, 4th club to make history with – screams Conte.”

Are you hiring Conte just for one season? What happens next season? Are you looking for a new coach again because Conte can’t coach more than 1 competition at the same time?

        1. In fairness Inter, Milan and others where well behind Juve in terms of players so a good chance a good coach could have won those serie a titles but conte brought Juve back from the depths

  2. I highly doubt they’ll bring in conte, just due to his track record of asking for older, and more expensive players; they want young players to sell for a profit. He’s also someone that likes to have complete control as well, which I don’t think the higher ups would want that.

  3. i mean, we can dream.
Ill believe it when i see it.
Time and time again napoli brings great coach like ancelotti, conte and milan are looking like a deer in the headlights

  4. Conte in…

BUY: Comuzzo, Coppola, deCuyper, Ricci, Zappacosta, Paz, Tiji replacement

Sell: Thiaw, Theo, Tiji (unfortunately) + Emerson, RLC, Musah, Terracciano, Chukwueze and the rest of loanies

return Zeroli, Adli, Alexis and extend Jovic

    1. Selling Kvara is one of the reasons Conte is flirting with other clubs. But also that Conte have been critical their training facilities
