CM: Milan considering change to Ibrahimovic’s role – the idea moving forward

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a heavily criticised figure in recent months, and AC Milan may move him into a new role soon.

There has been a lot of discourse about Ibrahimovic since he came back to the club almost two years ago now. Originally, it was due to confusion over his role, which still exists. Now, it is a frustration about his blasé attitude to some things.

Despite making suggestions that he is not employed by Milan, he has still been front and centre on several occasions, leading many to become annoyed with him, and in turn the management.

Giorgio Furlani has already been given more power in recent months, with Zlatan’s situation once again becoming unclear, but Calciomercato.com have tried to provide some clarity on the situation.

According to a report this afternoon, Ibra will still work with Furlani and maintain the ‘360-degree control of all areas’, whilst providing an ‘institutional presence’ at events. However, it would be preferential for him to change departments a little.

Therefore, the current suggestion is that he remains involved with choices on the pitch and in the market, but he works more in line with RedBird, rather than the sporting area. Put simply, this would see him return to what he was initially supposed to be, but has not been so far.

  1. Furlani needs to do books and logistics, the ugly, boring, corporate work…

Moncada should be either reverted to his old role or let go

Ibra, I don’t think he changes as much as he thinks. only for the “vibes” and maybe contract extensions sure, but anything else is too much for him, imo…

hence why we need a director that can manage the team and actually understands the game…

  2. Honestly the management disappointed every fan with their inexperience attitude and short sightedness in the market most especially in the futuro or what’s it called (Milan seria C team. The carmadas and his teammates who the management allowed to come to Seria A without any major contribution thus decrease the potential of the seria C Team.
The Milan everybody is happy about spent big money oh great players who won trophies and became legends of the game not like the mediocre everywhere now.
The management should spend money and get a defender right wing attacker and a standing 9 like box to box striker.less I forget we need a player with vast experience of the game who can lift the morale of the players when games were going against them because the only thing I see in Milan is whenever an opponent intimidates us we conceal goals which is not the characteristic of Milan rather we should be the one doing that.

  3. There is a perfect position for him: Milan need a mannequin at entrance of casa Milan. He has no clue what his role is, neither does anyone else in the media or outside the club. He has consistently put his nose where it was not invited and spoke or acted out of turn severally.
If he has any iota of self respect he would walk away, but we all know he won’t cos the pay is good and visibility is high.
What we have next season is another iteration of the banter era!
