With Mike Maignan’s situation still not changing, AC Milan are continuing to assess the mercato for different goalkeeper opportunities.

As the days pass, the chances of Maignan remaining in Rossoneri are getting slimmer. Milan, therefore, must make their own moves too, and look at the mercato for someone to replace the Frenchman.

It is unlikely that they will get a fee, so a big money move for a ‘keeper is unlikely, especially with another striker required. Nevertheless, the Diavolo will still have a budget set aside for his replacement. A player like Mike cannot be replaced on the cheap.

Bento to Milano

The latest idea to emerge takes the scouting team to Saudi Arabia, with Bento Matheus Krepski becoming a name of interest, as Tuttomercatoweb reports, via MilanNews. The Brazilian hopes to get a place in the World Cup squad, and sees a move to Europe as his chance to earn this.

Interest is present from Italy, and Inter are said to be the most interested party, though Milan are at the door, too. Despite arriving for €18 million, he could be sold in January for as little as €10m. However, it will be reliant on his wage being lowered. There is no way that the Diavolo will agree on a €6m salary.

  1. Does it mean that when you don’t pay for it then it has no value? Look inwards guys! There’s a young man who’s good with his feet and you don’t even have to pay a penny. If you insist on looking outside then go for ter Stegen who’s got loads of experience and who Barcelona are trying to get rid of. All these other names just feel like unknown quantities with less than 20% chance of succeeding here.

  2. Someone that goes to Saudi league at a young age cannot be a Milan profile that is ambitious to win it all. I’ll pass.

We can’t be going for low par players and later begin to complain about players mentality during games. The standard has to be high from the beginning.

Anyway, I hope this is just some rumours just to write something for people to read.

    1. Who be this?

My problem sef with Bento be sey eh too like kpekus. He might be carried away by a beautiful lady and concede an unlikely goal.

    2. How do you know the player had other offers? Maybe he could choose to go to Saudi and make money for his family or stay in Brazil? What would you do? Only a re*ard can write something like that.

  3. Milan academy has already produce many great GK like examples toldo, cudicini, abbiati, antonioli and donnarumma… Why not we should try it ??
