DefensaCentral: Milan could purchase Garcia for less than €20m due to Madrid signing

Reports this morning suggested that AC Milan could look to purchase Fran Garcia from Real Madrid, and his price has been revealed.

There is a lot to weigh up for Milan this summer. New defenders are needed, whilst another two additions are also seemingly requested, including a new striker. In other words, the Rossoneri have to be calculated with their investments.

However, they cannot do things on the cheap. Balance is required, and misaligned investments will create larger issues than is currently present. So, scrutiny over payments is certainly required, and today, they have learned the price of a new target.

Affordable option

Real Madrid outlet Defensa Central have relayed information that the Diavolo are looking at Garcia, the 25-year-old left back playing for the Galacticos. Though, their report also suggests he could leave with little clarity in place with his situation.

Thanks to the signing of Alvaro Carreras, the full-back could move to the third option under Xabi Alonso. So, he could leave, to free up funds and seek more game time.

Should this be the case, he would not be too outrageous for Milan to consider. The report states that he is valued around the €18 million mark, whilst a salary of only €2.5m per year is not outrageous. Something which would not be a ‘major obstacle’.

  1. This would be a bad signing, and for that amount, it’s lunacy, he completely lacks the physical profile of a defender

    1. Kids got speed and passing/scoring ability. Sure he cant defend but in a 3 man CB system it could work if you have ricci/fofana track back

  2. Nuno Mendez and parisi is the best for our left back and dodo for the right back
Calafioli and leoni for the central back
Let’s stop signing foreigners that will need 2 -3 year to settle in the league
    Sell out wingers
    Sign lucca and Kean
Play 3 4 3 wen leao and pulicic is in the team and switch to 3 5 2 with Lucca and kean

    1. yeah, and maybe mbappe for bakcup left wing and haaland for striker. Bro if we had the funds to sing all those players and salaries, we would in the club world cup and not going for a pre season in asia

    2. Kids like you need to stop pretending like you are in charge, go play your video games like Football Manager and be happy

    3. Italians aren’t good right now, and Milan can’t afford to pay overprice for mediocracy. Unless it’s Barella or Tonali, Milan should focus on foreigners who are cheaper and better trained than anyone who is available domestically

  3. I thought maybe truffert from nice he’s about I think 18-25 million he would be good for left back idk about Garcia I saw him play just a handful of times he’s okay but nothing like Theo who we just sold. Maybe a transfer swap and money for udogie would be a dream he’s Italian as well I heard they want 50 for him. But if we could throw chuk and 30-35 million maybe we could somehow get that deal over the line

    1. Truffert went to Bournemouth to replace Kerkez for a potential bargain of 13M

I doubt Spurs have any interest in Chukwueze and I doubt Udogie is going to swap his well paid UCL starter role for Milan.

  4. Average player, at 25 years old. If there’s trust in Bartesaghi development, bring a senior LB that will share playing time with Bartesaghi, like: Grimaldo, Andy Robertson, Tagliafico (who would be free at the moment), Emerson. And if there’s no trust in him, then there are other better options rather than these average players being mentioned in the news for the LB. For example Miguel Gutiérrez from Girona would be better choice than this Fran García, or Calafiori (loan + buy option), Antonee Robinson, Estupiñán or Kadioglu (now that Brighton got de Cuyper they will most likely have to sell one of the two), Nathaniel Brown (could be risky because he just played first season with Frankfurt but did very good). It’s just worrisome that management seems to be looking at average or below average options after we had a very good LB, and yes the club can’t aim for world class LB (Nuno, Davies, Balde) but the management shouldn’t be contributing to place the team in a worst place of category by going after below average players just because they will be cheap. If you buy cheap just because you put bigger emphasis on the price, you will get cheap results along the way

  5. Fran is the kind of player that can thrive under Allegri. For those who think he will be a miss. I think he is even better than Theo. Just check out his real vallwracano highlights
