MN: Milan are continuing to cut away at debts with financial projections improving

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are continuing to move further out of the red financially with projections showing an improvement on last season, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the losses for the 2022/23 season are expected to be considerably fewer in comparison to those at the end of the Scudetto winning campaign.

The losses this season are expected to be €25 million which is much less than the previous figure of €66.5 million. It is reported that this decrease has come from increased marketing revenues and the ability of the footballing side of the club to build a successful squad that did not break the bank when being assembled.

Lots of quality young players have been signed for relatively low fees and more importantly, on low wages. The fact that the team is in the latter stages of the Champions League will only help, but qualification for next season is vital.
