Ex-Milan defender labels Rossoneri ‘a real team’ which can ‘make up for big absences’

Former AC Milan defender Massimo Oddo has said that AC Milan are a ‘real team’ and that is what can make up for the absentees through injury in the Chelsea game.

Speaking ahead of the game to Prime Video Sport (via Milan News), Oddo joked that he may be needed on the right for the Rossoneri given the many injuries that they have sustained in recent weeks.

He also added that he thinks the quality of the squad and the chemistry that they have means that they can get past moments like these and still play well in big matches.

“Would I be needed on the right? Absolutely (laughs). It’s a good moment for Milan, they are a real team and with this they will be able to make up for the big absences they will have,” Oddo said.

Milan are without the likes of Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria and Alexis Saelemaekers for this game against Chelsea in the Champions League as well as others.

It will be a huge test of resolve for Stefano Pioli’s side but Oddo and many others feel that they can get a result.
