AC Milan have decided to change their priority target for the role of centre-back as Abdou Diallo of Paris Saint-Germain is now the number one goal, a report claims.
Having secured the arrival of Charles De Ketelaere who will land in Italy later today ahead of signing from Club Brugge, Di Marzio (via PianetaMilan) reports that Milan have immediately turned the page and are now focusing on the other roles in which they must strengthen.
It seemed that Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham was the main focus for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, but in the last few hours something seems to have changed and the priorities have shifted.
Di Marzio reports states that the Rossoneri have changed their minds on Alessio Romagnoli’s replacement and they now prefer the idea of signing Abdou Diallo from PSG. The reason is simple: in addition to playing centre-back, he can also cover the left-back position too.
This would be great as he can cover both positions perfectly….. Fingers crossed
The issue is not if he can cover both roles – the issue is if he can cover them well lol.
Diallo is not a smart player. He doesn’t fit here. He’s the CB version of Ballo Toure…. we have good and smart defenders with Tomori, Kalulu? Kjaer etc don’t break the mold and get this guy, he’s so sloppy… just trust Gabbia or buy a promising Italian youth. Team is almost 100% non Italian now. Gotta love penny pinching elliot and that foreign tax decree….
I’d prefer N’Dicka over Diallo. Not sure why we don’t go after Udogie from Udinese. Great young player. Cover for Theo. Oh wait we don’t have then $$$$ lol. Don’t care if the team is Italian or not. Just care about winning.
The problem with Gabbia is he needs a lot of game time and he is not guaranteed to have that in our team. So it’s better to loan him out and find a player we don’t mind if he get few minutes.
Just Get Ndicka. Dialo is a player that doesn’t know what his preferred /best position that feels comfortable to play. He’s not good enough not to us not even psg . So let’s just get the 6 year younger player that won the previous Europa League tbh it’s only 15-20mill which is nothing and a bargain price/deal for us also probably the better botman for most of the fans right here

Ziyech won’t come, he was just an alternative for CDK. Honestly, I prefer underrated Messias rather than overrated Ziyech.
I think Gabbia has proved himself enough. Stick with him. He’s homegrown and really good. I think both end of last season and the friendlies leading up to this season has been showing clearly he’s been taking steps in his development and i sready to compete with the others. He has hos heading game as a good extra component over Tomori and Kalulu. We get that with Kjaer also. But to have them both can be crucial in some games where we need to have more weight on corners and free kicks late in games.
I would prefer N’Dicka. I hope we don’t miss the opportunity to sign him
