AC Milan are admirers of former winger Gerard Deulofeu who continues to have a fantastic season for Udinese, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com report how – thanks to his recent goal against Sampdoria to reach 8 goals for the season – Deulofeu is having his best season in Serie A from a scoring point of view and there are still 10 games left too.
In a recent interview with a Spanish newspaper, Deulofeu did not hide his desire to rejoin the Rossoneri after he spent the second half of the 2016-17 season on loan at San Siro, scoring 4 goals and adding 3 assists in 18 games.
“I’d like to end my career at Milan or Everton, two clubs where I had a great time,” he said. Two summers ago, Paolo Maldini had had more than one concrete discussion with his entourage and he is a profile that the management still admire, but he does not appear to be a target in view of next season.
Deulofeu’s future could be in England, because West Ham have initiated talks with Udinese who are set to ask for around €20m to sell once the window reopens.
He should go to England, or Swaziland or literally anywhere else in our galaxy except Milan. Please.
