AC Milan have not yet managed to strike a deal with the entourage of Ismael Bennacer over a renewal and he has a big offer from abroad, a report claims.
TMW writes that Milan may have more difficulty than expected in their attempts to close the renewal of Bennacer, who is absolutely vital to Stefano Pioli’s tactical setup and has stepped up this season after the departure of Franck Kessie.

The Algerian midfielder has been targeted by many top European clubs after they watched his development with the Rossoneri since he joined from Empoli back in 2019, and a club has now acted on that interest.
Milan want to extend Bennacer’s current deal – which expires in June 2024 – by agreeing an extension worth €3.5m net per year including bonuses. The problem is that there is a verbal proposal on the table by a Premier League club worth around €4m per year plus bonuses.
There is therefore a distance that must be bridged, though there will be new contacts in the coming weeks alongside the negotiations with Rafael Leao.

The most unserious club in the world! How can you take one step forward and 10 steps back!
This was supposed to be our consolidated year, by winning a second Scudetto and performing well in CL. Yep! Tall order!
Losing your best players, because you want to pay them peanuts??? Benacer is worth 4m and more for what he brings to the team.
Invariably this team will be on perpetual rebuilding status, as we can’t grow or take the team to the next level. MEDIOCRITY AT IT’S BEST!
Losing Bennacer too, is just suicidal
We’re turning into AC Ajax.
Budgets be damned! Give every player anything they want to renew and make everyone on this site happy! Who cares if the club goes into insolvency so long as everyone on here gets what they want!
LOL @Honest Truth. You don’t make any sense friend
That is… Called sarcasm, my friend.
Yeah. Milan have bottomless dwell of money so everyone should be paid as much as they want!
Shut the f up dishonest trash… loosing our best players for 500k difference will see Milan fielding primavera kids only … just a matter of time
Exactly the type of reaction I was expecting. No consideration to finances, nor to the implication of such a contract to other renewals, nor taking into account the will of the players and their agents. You nor I have no idea what is going on behind the scenes but keep telling and insulting. Your petulance will get you far in life.
Prefer sell Leao than Bennacer
You are a buffoon. Leao is the reason we won the scudetto. Without him we wouldn’t finish in the top 10. He is not easily replaced and he is the player we build the team around.
I agree with @Fizt.
Leao is a great player but the reason AC Milan won the Scudetto was due to the strong midfield and’s the compact defence.
If I had to choose from the two, I would choose Bennacer. Leao can bring huge cash to the club and it’s easier to find a quality left winger than to finding a midfielder that does the job Bennacer does.
Check Kessie’s situation….has he been replaced??? I don’t know about Vrankx we haven’t seen enough yet, but till now Milan has lost a quality midfielder without bringing a replacement. Without Tonali and Bennacer we can’t win.
what if they can sell Leao and buy Joa Felix from Athletico Madrid ? As for Bennacer , we are covered , he should be sold if he wants to
” Without him we wouldn’t finish in the top 10. ”
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Chill people. From what we have seen so far, the management is happy to offer more money so long as it is within their limits. At this stage in the club’s journey, they just can’t go around splashing cash.
However, I do think that they need to be more decisive and demand a final answer before the transfer window, two years before contract expiry.
If players are seeking huge salaries and not the desire to play for AC Milan, then best thing is to get the best deal from their transfer and let them go. It’s the money that they play for …. not for the club they represent. Get rid of them as fast as you can. Just another Dollar-rumma !!!
Yep. If money is the only thing that will make the player happy and Milan can’t offer enough, then it’s best to sell. Best for everyone. Except for delusional fans who don’t understand Italian clubs aren’t as rich as they were in the 80s and 90s.
We can’t lose bennacer he is the heart of the team If it’s to pay 4mil we can surely do that we can’t be losing our best players always
Milan will never learn
I miss Silvio Berlusconi he knows what to give and what to let go. Current fools running the club know vitually nothing. Milan is in DANGER.
