GdS: Milan directors ‘very disappointed’ after Dinamo loss and ‘will let the team know’

The AC Milan directors were present at Milanello today and spoke with the squad after the defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that the CEO Giorgio Furlani, the Senior Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic and technical director Geoffrey Moncada were ‘very disappointed’ after the defeat in Croatian yesterday.

It has complicated the path from an on-field point of view and has created economic damage. Milan returned during the night, and now it is necessary to react in order not to lose the season, something we have heard several times before.

The leaders at Milan ‘did not at all appreciate the team’s performance in Zagreb’ and this morning they ‘will let the team know’. The loss in earnings from not getting a top eight spot amounts to over €15m, and this is something that will not have gone down well.

Ibrahimovic, Furlani and Moncada expected a different performance and now inevitably demand an immediate response in Sunday’s derby, so as not to see qualification for next season’s Champions League further away.

Milan seem to remain in a permanent state of fighting off crises and needing responses which has left fans tired, especially when the money-driven motives seem to take precedent over having a team to be proud of.

  1. Showing their faces and preach when things get tough but hide when team needs them the most. A disgrace of a management. It took Gerry only a season and a half to break the harmony and create toxic environment.

  2. I bet Eliot are just watching and laughing at Cardinale. It’s gonna be a double win for them when he won’t be able to pay the loan and Eliot can finally sell to ambitious owners for good. The bad thing is we have to endure 2 more years of incompetence

    1. I mean, it would be a boss move 🙂 if Eliot takes over again. I would not be surprised is we see familiar faces in the sporting department as well.

  3. Maybe if the management had proper back up options and a striker that could actually finish we wouldn’t be in this situation…

  4. Furlani was disappointed? Wow. The players must feel so bad right now… I’m sure they’ll show him the fighting spirit by beating Inter 5-0 as they don’t want to disappoint their true leader anymore.

  5. This rollercoaster ride is emotionally draining. Seems like this team has lost their ability to win games…is there motivation to play still there? Time for a reset…get rid of the lot…And whilst management is at it maybe they can get the damn reinforcements up front.

    1. This is the worst time period in last 3 seasons what we have… they don’t know how to win even 4 matches in row…
I really don’t know if we can blame Conceicao for this , or if this is just about our players

  6. All 3 of them should be sacked by the end of the transfer window.
Whatever decision is to keep Conceição or appoint a new coach by summer, one thing has to be clear: none of those 3 should be involved in the decision making process.

  7. Those responsible for this disaster are disappointed by the results of their own doing and are gonna lash out at product of their own incompetence. This is like a baker shouting at a loaf of bread because he forgot to put yeast in it.

    Ridiculous people.

  8. In my opinion the three directors + Emerson Théo, Tomori, Jovic, Morata, Abraham and Musah should all go. All of them a waste of time.

  9. We all know what triggered the process that made us be where we are now. It is hard to see how we get out of this, either an imminent change in management, or maybe a couch that will control everything.

  10. We’ve already been through rough time’s in the past. The only problem is that in the past we had men of quality not just players.. now i cannot say the same thing about this team. They want to be free & do what they want!! They are not ready for the discipline that the coach wants to bring. What we have is spoiled kids spitting on our legendary shirt. They don’t deserve to wear Milan’s shirt. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope one day Cardinale decide to sell and someone that really loves the club comes and change 80% of these spoiled kids….

  11. Only chance is Walker’s mentality + Conceicao. But after 8 games I just start thinking if even Conceicao is right man. Yes there isn’t problem in coach , its whole team , but you need big character for leadership this low mentality boys.. but still, I think this was the end of our sesson. They are more broken then Lego pieces and its hard to believe they save this season after such horrible match…

  12. This is the result of your own hands and your own doing. You are the ones who planted, and this is your harvest. You should accept it because you are the ones who sowed it. Naturally, the yield and money will be low. You must understand that you are failures—money and victories do not come by mere wishes.

  13. These clowns turn out to have some nerve lol

They are mad now because THEIR chairs are shaking from Cardinale lol

2 seasons ago when I exposed this fraud board, 3-4 meat riders were saying ‘oh it takes time, Maldini is crap, trust the process blahblahblahh’ and look at us now 😂😂😂😂

We have successfully become a circus 🎪 mid table team in Serie A.

Scumbag Scaroni and Stuart Little (Furlani) knows nothing about football management and yet they working in one of the biggest club in Europe.

At this point, no coach can ‘fix’ this team.

Let’s pray and protest that Cardinale will be forced to sell the club before relegation

    1. Throw in that clown who likes to say we’re objectively better. Hardly hearing that these days…I wonder why.
      Furlani=Stuart Little LMAO 😂😂😂

  14. I can already imagine a car pulling up and Cardinale, Furlani, Ibrahimovic and Moncada exiting the back seat one by one as the clowns they are 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Too bad i can’t post gifs here

  15. Ibra think he still a player with that lion super macho persona like he used to be, while in reality he didnt get the fact that he is retired overdue and useless now

  16. The team’s lack of progress is a reflection of the inaptitude of this management that put it all together… We’re missing out on 15mil so now all of a sudden they are worried and feel the need to intervene?

    unbelievable…

  17. Clowns…1. Ibra 2. Moncada 3. Furlani…
Morons…😆😆 All of them deserve a special prize for mimic the competency. Nr 1 is by far Ibra because he is equally incompetent and arrogant in the same time. Lethal combo 😆😆

  18. LOLOLOLOLO…

You know what’s disappointing Moncada Fulani and Zlatan??? The horse💩 job you have done.

That is what is disappointing you a$$🤡’s

From the class and grace of Maldini to this 🤡 show. Fkn DISGRACE!
