CM: Milan expect a big response from disappointing Chelsea loanee starting against Juventus

AC Milan are looking for assurances from Tiemoue Bakayoko because he has not yet convinced this season, starting with the game against Juventus at the weekend.

Fabrizio Romano claimed on Twitter in August that the deal that saw Bakayoko return to Milan from Chelsea is in fact a two-year loan with an option to buy set at €15m. He also extended contract with Chelsea until June 2024 to facilitate the deal, given that his previous contract was set to expire in June 2022.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com however, the Rossoneri management are not happy with what they have seen from Bakayoko so far in his second spell at the club as he has ‘never convinced’.

The report adds that Milan expect ‘significant responses’ from the former Monaco man, starting with a big performance in Sunday’s crucial match against Juventus where he should partner Sandro Tonali in the double pivot.
