The summer plans for AC Milan are becoming more known, and it seems they are targetting a big deal for an aging Saudi Pro League star.
There have been a number of impressive imports to the Saudi Pro League in recent years, especially in the forward market. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have both headed to Saudi Arabia.
However, there has also been a market for players who are not quite in the elite bracket, and Aleksandar Mitrovic is one of those. Now, he is being linked with a move back to Europe.
According to L’Equipe this afternoon, Saudi officials are in Paris to speak to a few clubs about some players. Theo Hernandez, obviously, is one of the candidates to be discussed, and it seems the Rossoneri will also speak about a player of their own interest.
That player is Mitrovic, whose deal expires in 2026. Scoring 47 goals in 51 SPL appearances across the past two years, he is seen as an option to bolster the Rossoneri’s attacking line, especially with Luka Jovic’s situation still a little unclear.
It seems his valuation is around the €40 million mark, which seems a little high considering his age and contract situation. However, he provides a completely different profile than what is currently available to the Rossoneri.

Keep this Srbian players outta Ac Milan we dont need them, they are not on Ac Milan lvl !!!
English leason: If you are refering to multiple players *these should be used insted of this. Or you are talking just about one – then say *player instead of players.
English lesson: it’s ‘lesson’. ‘Leason’ isn’t an English word.
Italian lesson: I somehow doubt you are truly a Milanista from birth, otherwise you’d know that Milanisti is the plural form.
You don’t say “I’m a Milanisti.” You say “I’m a Milanista.” Or, all in Italian, “Sono milanista.”
Why is this person being picked on for not being a native English or Italian speaker?
Hard NO
If we’re gonna raid Saudi league get someone who isn’t overpaid. Plus whether we like it or not, Gimenez is our no.9 for next season, we dont have the budget to blow 40mn on a backup. Maybe we can get Lucca for closer to 20mn.
Please no…
Can’t understand why anyone would move to Saudi.
There’s something seriously wrong with the world when players who have earned millions in their careers can’t retire, and need to sell their souls to help sportswash a regime that murders people, is effectively an apartheid regime against women and minorities, has funded wars and genocide, and has contributed to the climate crisis.
This shows how we have lost all sense morality in the pursuit of not just money, but extreme wealth.
This !
You mean Europe or America?
Apartheid regime! You don’t know what you’re talking about. They haven’t funded a single war or genocide. They murdered one terrorist sympathiser. Your understanding of politics is pathetic. You’re confusing Saudi Arabia with the west.
Europe and America was build on killing people and so does Christianity
Would be a great idea if he were cheap and available… doesn’t sound like he is though.
