MN: Milan’s first two summer signings close to being fully agreed – the details

AC Milan are already very close to having their first two signings of the summer over the line as reinforcements in defence and attack should arrive, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Milan’s first two signings ahead of the 2022-23 season should be Sven Botman and Divock Origi. Both are very advanced negotiations and there are agreements in principle with the entourage of the players on both contract length and the salary they will receive.

Regarding the Dutch defender, the final few pieces of the operation must be agreed with Lille and then things will move quickly towards closure, whereas for the Belgian forward it is merely a question of details and there is no club to negotiate with given he would arrive on a free.

Milan will therefore welcome two new reinforcements ahead of another campaign hopefully competing for trophies, adding some much-needed youth to the attack and replacing Romagnoli in the rearguard.
