Mirror: Milan interested in free transfer for Liverpool midfielder

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season, a report claims.

As has been reported by The Daily Mirror (Milan News), the 27-year-old midfielder is a target for the Rossoneri as well as many other teams.

He will be out of contract in June and there is no suggestion that Liverpool will be offering him a new deal as he has been injured for the majority of his time at Liverpool. When fit, he has failed to impress for long spells.

He rose to prominence at RB Leipzig and moved to Liverpool for a hefty fee. It is a move that has not worked out but Milan could offer him a place to try and reignite his career.

He has also been linked with a return to Leipzig instead so he will likely have multiple offers.

  1. Since previous ownersiis and management, Milan just have the nack of signing players based on what they used to be before they moved to their current club and are now a pale shadow of their former selves. Just dont get what all that is about.
Ronaldo R9, Ronaldinho, Robinho Essien, Flamini, etc etc

  2. Of course we are…why? Because he is FREE lol. Embarrassing. Bring back Kessie before Inter gets him. If that happens he will destroy Tonali for fun and I doubt we win another derby for quite sometime
