The AC Milan management have apparently told Massimiliano Allegri he will get at least one full-back before leaving on the preseason tour.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report this morning that while Milan’s transfer window isn’t taking off in terms of there being a flurry of business, Igli Tare is busy on multiple different negotiating tables.

Tare and the CEO Giorgio Furlani want to give Allegri at least one full-back before he leaves for the tour of Asia and Australia, where Arsenal, Liverpool and Perth Glory await as the first big tests of the summer.
Marc Pubill, a full-back for Almeria and an Olympic champion with Spain, is circled in red as an option for the right flank because Allegri likes him. Also on that flank, however, is Strasbourg’s Guéla Doué, who is forcing the club’s hand to try and join Milan. A new offer could be sent for him by the Rossoneri soon.
The fact remains that the club need to sign two new full-backs. With Theo Hernandez on the way out and with no real options in the right-back role either, two starters are needed to occupy the flanks of the defence, sooner rather than later preferably.
I’ll admit I have yet to see him or Almeria play. Has anyone watched him?
I like Goue more than Pubill. In Ligue 1 he shut down his own brother and Hakimi in both games Strausborg played against PSG. This guy is underrated and really good.

Who will play at left back? Theo is gone. Milan are looking for a right back and they have Jimenez and still Teraciano and Emerson. Milan doesn’t have half the team and they prioritized the right back?
Spot on. Not to mention that Saelemaekers can technically play there too. While we don’t have a true RB starter, we have players than can fill that role, meanwhile, we have nothing at LB.
We have Bartesaghi at least in LB, he is not high quality yet because he is not playing consistently. The problem with youth academies of top teams are that top teams need immediate impact, pressure to win is high so time cannot be given, mistakes can’t be afforded. That’s why unless academy players are scintillating and generational talent, it’s difficult to give a young player minutes in top teams CONSISTENTLY. Though Milan is not a top team anymore but the history is not that old to be forgotten. Our young players, unless they are generational talent will not get minutes here. They have to go out on loan. Exception is probably Barcelona and to some extent Real Madrid too but exception is never an example.
