Yesterday, Theo Hernandez stated that he had been let go by AC Milan and given a clear ultimatum. However, it has not affected those inside the club.
The sale of Theo in the summer is a heavily debated topic, and one that Milan have not let go of just yet. Davide Bartesaghi seems to be the heir to the position, but it is not really due to the success of the Frenchman’s replacement.

Pervis Estupinan was brought in to replace the defender, but he has not left many impressed, and Bartesaghi has taken advantage. Whether he would be preferred over Theo, though, is something entirely different.
Nothing to regret
Reports suggested that Massimiliano Allegri would have loved to work with the wing-back, and he could have excelled in this system. However, Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that there are ‘no regrets’ at Casa Milan about the situation.
After his comments yesterday, the staff have been left ‘untouched’, with no one changing their minds about the situation. They would still make the sale now.
Whether the same is felt by the fans is another thing entirely, and most would probably take him back in a heartbeat. The bed has been made by the Rossoneri…
Selling him was the best thing, if he wanted to sign a new contract at the exact figures he was earning he would have, he was not worth the increase in salary, his attitude, mentality, behaviour, was extremely poor for the past two seasons, then if you add the on field attitude and petulant behaviour, it was the best thing.
Why is it that not a single team in Europe commit to buy him when Milan put him up for sale, the only option was Saudi Arabia, because everyone saw and knew his destructive attitude, now we have Barthesagi who is going to become a world class player..

Truly his attitude is far worse and this makes no team in Europe want to buy him but how i wish we also had a good management it would have been handled in a far more good way it makes me remember Berlusconi and Galiani’s era
This whole “no other club wanted him” implies the transfer market makes any sense whatsoever.
He went to Saudi Arabia because that’s where some players are going there because of money.

Modern football is about whoring yourself to the highest bidder. Which gives brutal regimes funded by planet destroying fossil fuels the upper hand as they desperately seek to sportswash their image.
And yet many players in their prime reject Saudi to stay in Europe to play at top clubs and the champions league. Bottom line, no big club stepped up for him. There weren’t even rumors. Your support for this guy is pathological. You’re “Maldini’s Heir”. Paolo Maldini would NEVER have done what Hernandez did during that water cooling break. And he also rubbed off on Leao the wrong way. Look at how much more serious Leao is this season. Hernandez is toxic. Now we have an academy product rising at LB. You should be ecstatic about this, given how much you hate transfers (did you forget Theo was a transfer in) and how much you profess to love our academy players. Theo is gone, move on.
